During the Cold War, obviously, the Soviet Union and China were cultivating the international left. After the formal end of the Soviet Union, they decided we’re going to get the right wing as well. We’re going to keep the left as much as we can. We’re not going to keep all of them. And ironically, this meant that the communists were trying to get deeper and deeper into the anti-communist movement.
And that wasn’t exactly a new thing. Because from the very first moment the Soviets tried to infiltrate the anti-communist movement internationally. And I just noticed these similarities between the early attempts at controlling the anti-communist movement and what we see today with these characters like Peter Thiel, Elon Musk, what they call the PayPal mafia.
They all started with the PayPal corporation and they get all these government contracts now with their security related software products from Palantir, Anduril etc.
The mentality that this group is influenced by is sometimes called the dark enlightenment. They like this Curtis Yarvin blogger who’s incredibly generic. He’s whining and he wants a monarchy. We should get over our dictator-phobia. Business moguls should run everything.
What this group essentially is saying is that they are defining anti-communism. They claim to fight this grand conspiracy, modernity. Democracy has failed. They’re saying we’re the best anti-communists in the world and we live that because we have these businesses and we actually work with the government. They want to be every leftist’s nightmare. They have the money. They’re elitist. They work together. They work with the government and they want to rule and have this control and take that control away from the voters.
When I looked deeper into this group, I thought this is exactly what happened in the immediate phase after the communist revolution in Russia. These washed up leftover Romanovs fled to places in Europe. Some of them and their relatives went to the United States and they wanted to build this international anti-communist movement and they wanted to define it. The problem was the whole thing was infiltrated by the KGB which wasn’t named KGB at the time.
The whole Russian emigré circles were all infiltrated by Soviet intelligence and these washed up Romanovs had another big problem. They were from the houses of Hessen and Schleswig-Holstein and within this particular brand of aristocracy there must have been some really high-level Soviet collaborators. So in short, you could not trust these Romanov guys in exile.
They were not to be trusted even though they looked so legit to the right-wing internationally. They were pushed out of the seats of power by communists and they had had this old-style regime running for so long. They tried to connect with anybody who was rightwing or ultra-rightwing, including the German Nazis. They tried to connect with Brits and Americans. Especially they tried to instill this mentality into these American business people like the Peter Thiels of that particular era back then.
That democracy doesn’t work. Democracy is the slow pace road to communism and we have to get more fascist or semi-fascist or monarchist. These Russians tried to tell the Americans how to do an aristocracy properly. I mean there is an argument for a healthy hierarchy. People who deserve a specific level of responsibility, people who can do things better, people who are more trustworthy than others. But to be lectured by these weirdo Russians, who were not even Russians, but from the house of Hessen, was silly.
And these people were working with the Nazis over in Europe and some French crazies. The whole thing was infiltrated by Soviet intelligence. And they tried to define what anti-communism is. And they put in so much traditional conspiracy mythology.
We know that the fake protocols of Zion came out of Russia. But the Romanovs then made it a much bigger thing. And I think the role of these leftover Romanovs has been understated to a large degree. They still had money. They still had contacts and they could pay for activists. They could pay groups and they could tell them what the trends are and push these fake protocols of Zion and say that true anti-communism has to be this, that and the other. And if you deviate from that line you are the enemy.
This started essentially with the grand duke Kirill Vladimir of Russia who was a first cousin of the last Zar. The guy sounded very Russian but he’s from these European aristocratic families.
Kirill then proclaimed himself emperor in exile in 1926. So he vowed to return to Russia one day or his children or children’s children would return to Russia one day and reclaim the throne. Meanwhile, they were going to have this Russian emperor throne in exile. But then Kirill became known as the Soviet Zar because in the event of a restoration of the monarchy, he intended to keep some of the features of the Soviet regime.
Kirill found his strongest support among a group known as the Mladorossi which ultimately became heavily influenced by fascism. The organization called itself super right-wing but eventually began to exhibit pro-soviet sympathies, arguing that the monarchy and the Soviet system could peacefully coexist. So you would have the throne and below that would be a socialist type system. It would perfectly work together. The Mladorossi believed that the Soviet government for all its negative ideology was preserving the Russian state and defending its national interests. They also believed that the October Revolution was merely the beginning of an evolutionary process that would create a new young Russia. Mladorossi used the slogan “Zar and the Soviets”.
Kirill then had to distance himself from the organization when its founder was spotted meeting with Soviet diplomats, which probably meant Soviet spies.
Kirill Romanov, the emperor in exile, was close to members of the Nazi party when he was in Germany. He is said to have paid Ludendorff a sum of nearly half a million gold marks in 1922 or 1923. Kirill’s son was Grand Duke Vladimir. During World War II Vladimir was living in Britany and in 1941 he issued the following statement:
“In this grave hour when Germany and almost all the nations of Europe have declared a crusade against communism and bolshevism which has enslaved and oppressed the people of Russia for 24 years, I turn to all the faithful and loyal sons of our homeland with this appeal. Do what you can to the best of your ability to bring down the Bolshevik regime and to liberate our homeland from the terrible yoke of communism.”
The problem was the Romanovs did it wrong. They tried to encourage people to rebel against the Soviets but for a while they were saying we could coexist with the Soviets, work with the Soviets. The Romanovs were making all the big mistakes and they paid all these activist groups and they tried to be with these American businesspeople.
The Romanovs added another whole layer to the conspiracy mythology which elevated the laughable forgeries like the protocols of Zion to the highest possible status.
The protocols were obviously fake and they were even exposed very early on as a fake but through people like the Romanovs and the organizations they paid and their powerful friends in the West, even in Britain and the US, the protocols of Zion became a big hit. This is how people began to see that conspiracy mythology as the core of anti-communism. The big baffling joke was that the Romanovs were from the houses of Hessen and Schleswig-Holstein. They could have simply asked their relatives in Europe, on German or British or Danish soil: “Is this conspiracy mythology true? Did these little Jewish families take over the British Empire?” And their relatives could have told them: “Absolutely not. The whole Rothschild fairy tales are garbage. They didn’t steal from the Landgraf of Hessen. They didn’t scam the stock market in London.”
But still the Romanovs pushed this mythology so hard.
Today there are many people out there, they read this stuff on the internet and totally believe it. They copy it. And so they go around and rehash, copy and paste these old claims about the elders of Zion.
And when you disagree, they will say that you work for the Jews or you are Jewish.
And every time they play this routine they claim they’re actively fighting the conspiracy.
To this very day people confuse these things. They don’t understand what anti-communism really is. They think it’s that conspiracy activism. It’s conspiracy mythology.
The KGB popularized this material so massively in the Muslim world that basically more than a billion Muslims believe it. So every right-winger or ultra-rightwinger, everybody who styles himself an anti-communist, believes they’re special. They claim they have special knowledge. But no. They believe the same as more than a billion Muslims. Even a Muslim goat herder believes this. It’s nothing special. It’s a mass product aimed at the masses.
After the US air strike against the Iranian nuclear program Medvedev said that we’ll give the Iranians nukes.
Hardcore Muslims can then attack any major city in Europe with a nuclear weapon and believe they are fighting the Zionist world conspiracy because every government in Europe is supposedly Zionist occupied.
There was this character Cherep Spiridovich, a conspiracy author who was funded by Henry Ford, the American car mogul. Henry Ford also popularized the protocols of Zion in America.
We get the parallels to some of America’s moguls today who work with the Russians and they say these ultra-rightwing statements or allude to these ideas.
This Russian count revitalized an old fairy tale about 300 Jewish families running the big conspiracy which then influenced the book called “the conspirator hierarchy, the story of the committee of 300” by John Coleman.
And we saw a continuous relationship between American intelligence and the Romanovs in exile with people like Colonel Harris Houghton, Colonel John Jacob Astor, Major General Ralph Van Deamon, Colonel Williams Bryant, Colonel Nicholas Biddle, Colonel Theodore Roosevelt and others.
Henry Ford created his own personal intelligence service and hired a substantial number of exiled Russians, so-called white Russians.
Boris Brasol had a copy of Nius’s edition of the protocols of Zion which was then passed to Harris Houghton and his group of military intelligence people. They paid for the translation of the protocols and Henry Ford then turned them into a mass phenomenon.
Same as today, lots of Russians involved, and they contact these American industrialists and they want to build this whole anticommunist movement, but it’s completely infiltrated. The stated goal back then was to create an anti-communist international based on conspiracy lore.
Cherep Spiridovich, the conspiracy author, probably collaborated with the so-called ace of spies, Sydney Riley.
Grand Duke Alexander Romanov met Riley as early as the year 1900. Riley was tasked at the time with buying war supplies from America for Russia in World War I. Then we got the this whole mess with the Russian civil war, Operation Trust, all these white groups got infiltrated and but Americans and Brits were willing to continue to work with these white groups and these exiled white Russian figures, which was a huge mistake.
Herman Bernstein sued Henry Ford over the fake protocols of Zion and published the book “history of a lie” in 1921. A white Russian emigré, who ran his own intelligence group, supplied Ford with materials for the lawsuit against Bernstein. The Russian also forged documents against two US senators. Boris Brasol was also contracted to help Mr. Ford.
There were a bunch of Jews and partial Jews in Russia who often didn’t really follow the Jewish faith anymore. They were living on the outskirts of a thin middle class in Russia and they got swept up in this left movement. This fueled the hyperfocus on that Jewish attribute later.
Lenin was called a Jew. He had a grandfather named Siril Moisevich Blank in Odessa who lived in the early 1800s. One Jewish grandfather who converted to the Orthodox church and changed his name. Otherwise Lenin was descended from Russians and Kalmyks. He was basically a Russian who joined the communist revolution.
His father was not a religious man and his mother was somewhat. The Bolshevik conundrum was how to transform rowdy peasants into proletarians and capable revolutionaries.
Semites are a huge group. Going back thousands of years in the whole Mesopotamia era area and various empires
that came afterwards, the Babylonians and the Assyrians, Phoenetians and the Carthaginians.
Jews were a tiny fraction from that super large Semitic group and it’s difficult to have coherence when you’re forced to escape in all kinds of directions.
It’s impossible to have this super-duper conspiracy going on, especially if you don’t have a state, state power. You can’t create false legends, you can’t create false histories, you can’t create false documents, you don’t have an army, you don’t have a place to escape to. You don’t have a place to train your agents if you’re scattered around the world.
Some Semitic people ended up in the Russian sphere. The Soviet sphere. Today there’s people that are called Jewish, but they look Slavic. It’s just a mess. The world is really complicated and it takes time to understand history and understand the intelligence operations that went on. But people hate complexity.
In Germany these white Russian emigrés collaborated with the Nazis through an organization named Aufbau. A leader of German military intelligence worked with Grand Duke Romanov and of course members of the houses of Hessen, Schleswig-Holstein and others eventually joined the Nazi party. The same families that the Romanovs were from.
General Ludenorff established an intelligence service for Kirill Romanov. Walter Nikolai had worked for Ludenorff as the head of the German army high command intelligence service during World War I.
Russian monarchists funneled large sums of money to the Nazi party, the NSDAP. Boris Brasol and other members of the Aufbau, especially Kirill’s wife Grand Duchess Victoria, connected the German extreme right-wing to the Americans like Henry Ford.
Brasol, who had an American citizenship, secretly helped organize an anti-communist congress in Germany with the support of the Gestapo.
The assembly included speakers, guests from Canada, France, England, and Switzerland. Heinrich Himmler showed interest in Brasol in August 1938.
Today it’s the same playbook. The American conspiracy influencer Alex Jones claimed in 2024 that the Rothschilds had had so much control over Britain that they could destroy the Tsarist rule in Russia and replace it with Jewish communism. As a Judas style payback to the Rothschilds, Lenin supposedly gave Ukraine away. After more than 80 years, Putin managed to liberate his people. But the United States is still kind of occupied by the Rothschild conspiracy. American patriots need Putin’s help for liberation.
And this is basically what Jones was alluding to. Jones was in contact with retired US General Michael Flynn who had his own scandals. It’s the same program that was pushed by exiled Romanovs and these white Russian immigrant circles.
Now we’re at the present time and we have these oligarchs like Peter Thiel who is actually German with companies like Palantir and he was with PayPal and this is kind of a group that used to include Elon Musk and a bunch of others.
Sometimes it’s referred to as the PayPal mafia because they’ve became so powerful. They work together and they grow their business and they grow their circle. They have influence over the Trump administration and they seem to have this ideology that sounds like Alexander Dugin, Julius Evola and Curtis Yarvin. It’s sometimes referred to as the dark enlightenment.
According to the more extreme writers America should be maybe a half dictatorship or a monarchy. There’s this big conspiracy going on. Democracy has failed. We need to get tough. But then some of these tech business characters are in contact with the Russians and they push certain ideas or they mention certain ideas that are just amateurish. I mean you can argue all day about how people are oftentimes too stupid to make decisions. Historically when people had the option after hundreds of years of serfdom to try something new they joined Soviet communism or fascism or national socialism. So you can argue that all day but it’s not good enough to say simple slogans like we need to get tough.
You actually have to do them right. You have to do them professionally. You have to do them correctly. You need to have that level of skill and expertise and personal qualities. Peter Thiel actually appeared on the radar of the FBI
because Peter Thiel was visiting an exquisite birthday party at a castle near Vienna, Austria. Very aristocratic style, this whole European gimmick. There were weird guests and they introduced Peter Thiel to a Russian guy and that’s what alerted the FBI. Peter Thiel, originally from Germany, is a member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group. He’s a citizen of Germany, the United States, and New Zealand. And as of recently, he was reportedly in the process of acquiring yet another passport from Malta.
He wants to present himself as this diehard Anglo. He married his longtime partner Matt Danzeisen in Vienna, Austria. Why Austria? Danzeisen started his career as an investment banker at Bank of America Securities and later when the couple were dating Mr. Danzeisen was vice president of Black Rockck.
The problem is these Anglo circles, for a hundred years, have been influenced by these Russians who are pretending to be anti-communist.
Business Insider then reported that Thiel allegedly became an FBI informant in 2021 or had some sort of a relationship with the FBI. Neither Thiel nor the FBI even commented to Business Insider about the report. It says the reporting to the FBI was largely limited to foreign contacts and attempts by foreign governments to penetrate Silicon Valley.
There were other mainstream media outlets who got into this topic as well and they sort of confirmed this relationship. So, in the summer of 2021, the insider claims Thiel began providing information as a confidential human source to Jonathan Buma, a Los Angeles-based FBI agent specialized in investigating political corruption and foreign influence campaigns. Now, this Jonathan Buma character from the FBI later becomes important with Elon Musk. Thiels business interests rely on the FBI and other government agencies as potential revenue sources.
He retains a 10% stake in Palantir, a data company that has sold more than a billion dollars of software and related services to the federal government, including the Pentagon, the CIA, the NSA, and the FBI. A $250 million contract with the US Army in September adds to the evidence that Palantir is essentially a government service provider.
A few years ago there was an extravagant birthday party with hundreds of guests held at a castle from the 17th century in the suburbs of Vienna, Austria. Austria is completely infiltrated by the Russians.
It was the whole gimmick, statues of Greek gods, a troupe of acrobats, champagne. A guest of honor was Christian Angermayer, a German entrepreneur who had forged relationships with politicians across the world. The party was in 2018 and commemorated his 40th birthday.
So a German guy, Christian Angermayer, celebrates his birthday in Austria and one of the guests was Peter Thiel who is from Germany. Mr. Thiel was already friendly with with Mr. Angermayer. Over the next few years he would pour millions into Angermayer’s ventures as a co-investor.
Another one of Mr. Angermayer’s guests was a diplomat named Daniil Bisslinger who worked in Moscow at the Kremlin’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Bisslinger had previously been working at the Russian embassy in Berlin and sometimes served as Vladimir Putin’s interpreter.
So then, according to the news media, it was supposedly Mr. Angermayer who introduced the Russian guy Bisslinger to Mr. Thiel at the party and this is what Thiel would later tell the FBI. So allegedly after some small talk Bisslinger made a pitch to Thiel. Thiel should travel to Russia to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. If Thiel chose to attend, Bisslinger would arrange for him to meet privately with Putin.
The conversation at the palace in Vienna was memorable enough for Bisslinger to reach out again to Thiel more than 3 years later in January of 2022. So that’s almost when the Russian invasion of Ukraine happened.
According to this Business Insider report Mr. Thiel reported Bisslinger’s two approaches to the FBI along with the names of two others; a German and a Russian.
An investigation by “Der Spiegel”, drawing on thousands of Bisslinger’s emails, detailed how Bisslinger cultivated pro-Russia sentiment both in public and in private. Some of his greatest successes were members of the right-wing party AFD in Germany.
So these different types of characters meet at fancy aristocratic palaces, surrounded by statues of Greek gods. The Russians say they are monarchists and autocratic and anti-communists. They claim to fight the world conspiracy.
The host of Angermayer’s birthday party and owner of that fancy palace in Vienna was the Austrian investor Alexander Schütz who joined the supervisory board of Deutsche Bank in 2017 when the Chinese company HNA became a major shareholder in the bank. They also had another guest, Mr. Markus Braun, then the CEO of the German company WireCard, which completely derailed in 2020 in Germany’s biggest fraud scandal in recent memory. Jan Marsalek, former Wirecard board member, is now on Interpol’s most wanted list and believed to be hiding in Russia. It’s believed that Marsalek has been a Russian spy for a bunch of years.
The Guardian newspaper in Britain ran a story with the headline “FBI whistleblower claims he tried to get to Elon Musk to warn him he was being targeted by Russia.” So this FBI person that they talk about was Jonathan Buma who was also involved in the Peter Thiel situation.
Buma said: “I worked with the FBI. I was freaking out because Elon Musk’s circle was infiltrated.”
It was reported that Musk’s wealth manager had cornered his boss to discuss his concerns about a then new advisor to the Tesla CEO, a Russian-born ex-professional gambler.
A newcomer who suddenly had immense influence on what to do with Elon Musk’s money. The media described how the Russian spent time sleeping in Musk’s home during the pandemic and that Musk reportedly said he was considering leaving the Russian guy in charge of his charitable giving.
We know how Russia styles itself. The third Rome, the savior of conservatism, the leaders of anti-communism, the biggest fighters against the world conspiracy. These American businesspeople seem to like the writings of this character Curtis Yarvin.
He looks like a hippie, very unimpressive. He looks like some housekeeper who’s also a hippie.
His writings are very disappointing because it seems like almost as if an algorithm or a team had assembled the words that would probably work the best with the target audience.
You can sell that to the average activist out there. But it has a different effect on an audience like Elon Musk or Vice President JD Vance or Peter Thiel because those people are powerful. They’re not just activists.
There’s this new version of the old operation Trust which happened originally at the time of the Russian civil war between the reds and the whites. This was an organization or a circle that claimed to be the most relevant in anti-communism. This was a big trap. This was a big mistake because the group was the group was fake and run by the reds. A younger Vladimir Putin, who was already working for the KGB, had actually visited a princess in Germany.
In Hessen of all places. Again, the house of Hessen, like the tsars. This was actually an old Russian princess whose family had escaped the communists. A wild escape from castle to castle and finally she came to Hessen. She married into the Metternich clan. So she lived in this idyllic castle in Hessen. And she gets a surprise visit by a young Vladimir Putin. The story was told in a few sentences in Catherine Belton’s book “Putin’s People” because Belton had a source for that story. Somebody from that family who worked in banking.
The princess wrote some books and they are full of this idea that there was this underground movement in Russia; even in the Soviet Union. This supposed conservative underground movement preserving the real Russia. The real Russia couldn’t be killed by communism because the real Russia was was strong enough and it lived on underground. And then Putin supposedly was a member of this conservative underground.
This secretive group over there in the late stages of the Soviet Union destroyed communism over there.
She had the best contacts in the rightwing; that was the whole point. She could pick up a phone and call up European royalty because she was related to them. Businesspeople, especially the right-wingers, German guys who still had some Nazi sympathies.
They they loved her. They trusted her and she had British contacts and American contacts.
She gets the visit of a young Vladimir Putin and Putin tells her the story about this supposed underground movement. And so this is the bigger picture of what we see today, what we have now with this dark enlightenment
