How big this change would have been is a crucial question; not only in terms of the investigation into the shooter, who was killed by officers at the scene.
A huge hype has been staged around Trump that has little to do with reality. Voters from the left and the right focus on him, but Trump voters would ultimately get the entire party apparatus and an agenda called “Project 2025,” which was recently presented by the Heritage Foundation.
2025 may have been a key motivator for the shooter and possible accomplices. Still, an assassination would be counterproductive, as it boosts the Heritage agenda and Trump ultimately being replaceable.
Heritage, the secretive Council for National Policy and the Republican Party have enough politicians on hand who can replace Trump. Nikki Haley could have easily beaten Biden.
If people from the Heritage and CNP orbit are compromised, it could explain many elements of self-sabotage.
The GOP has long been planning for the future without Trump. It is still unclear how the assassination will affect the poll numbers. The Biden administration is currently directing the FBI and Homeland Security. Nobody wants an investigation where the results become a problem.
You can’t trust the mass media or the so-called “alternative” influencers. The basic principle is that people say what is in line with their own ideology and what benefits their own ideological group. To this end, facts are suppressed, twisted, misinterpreted, or even simply invented.
FOX News had to pay gigantic fines because it broadcast wild claims about the 2020 election that it knew were untrue or that it hadn’t adequately verified. It was all about the ratings and the benefit for the Republicans. Various influencers lie and falsify non-stop, an endless loop. Alex Jones is practically ruined because he called the Sandy Hook shooting a fake production with actors, and the defamation suit made it clear that INFOWARS is only about viral stories and no one has mastered or wants to master the craft of journalism.
After the assassination of JFK, left-wing mass media manipulated the image of the slain president. He was a staunch anti-Soviet politician with a cabinet full of establishment figures. He and his brother favored aggressive secret operations and even had the CIA search for press leaks at home. The left-wing press lied about everything to make it look like he was their darling, their martyr. The CIA and the “military-industrial complex” had supposedly killed him.
In reality, the shooter was the staunch communist Lee Harvey Oswald, who had spent time in the USSR and was probably recruited by the KGB along with his Russian wife. Oswald almost shot the Texas gubernatorial candidate Walker. This is a classic Marxist-Leninist terror strategy.
The conservative forces in the USA covered up some of the circumstances, especially the Soviet and Cuban traces, so that the political system would not be unbalanced and tensions with the USSR would not boil over.
Endless propaganda was used to try to turn reality on its head. The plot of a communist was turned into a wild conspiracy hypothesis in which the FBI and the CIA were at the center. Oswald was misconstrued as the victim. Conspiracy media lie to this day that a speech given by Kennedy to newspaper publishers in which he spoke of the conspiracy by the USSR was a declaration of war on the “Illuminati.”
The attempted Trump assassination must be looked at very closely and investigated. Various media will do everything to establish a narrative that they like.
Various clues may turn out to be relevant or irrelevant over time.
Multiple warnings ignored
A witness told the BBC that the police and the Secret Service had been warned about a suspicious man on the roof who was clearly carrying a gun.

The officers practically did not react, even though more than one person had given the warning. It is clear that all personnel will be checked. If the media do this, gross distortions can arise. “Alternative” media can be trusted to lie, no matter how crazy. The mass media tend to manipulate by omitting information.
If the shooter had had insider help, the circle of people involved would have been kept as small as possible. The risk would not only be immense that information would become public, but also that the Russian or Chinese secret service would get wind of it.
The question of motive is crucial. Trump is, as mentioned, completely interchangeable, quite incompetent and hardly anyone wants to work directly with him. If he had been shot, Nikki Haley might have taken over the candidacy and beat Biden by more than ten percent.
Project 2025, the Republicans’ new agenda, emphasizes a massive strengthening of the secret services and the organization of homeland security. Conspiracy influencers who constantly whisper about a “deep state” simply don’t know what they’re talking about. They fantasize about a master plan in which Trump will somehow save the world together with Putin. The most important people in the Republicans see Russia as an enemy. Trump’s top advisor, General Kellogg, recently made it clear in a text how aggressive foreign policy was under the Trump administration, especially against the Russians. Some of Trump’s public statements about Putin, Kellogg suggests, were pure tactics to keep the diplomatic window open.
Many Trump activists and influencers live in a fantasy world and don’t really understand the past Trump administration.
The classic conspiracy ideology is also typical. It will be said that the “elders of Zion” wanted to murder Trump. But they don’t exist, Trump is a convinced Zionist and there are much more elegant ways to get rid of someone.
Leftists in the USA, on the other hand, believe that there is a right-wing, fascist world conspiracy behind everything. They think that Trump would quickly mutate into a dictator.
The crime scene
The stage on which Trump appeared was in front of three barns where the police had positioned snipers. Not far from there is another building where the body of the suspected shooter was found. This is therefore the primary location that an assassin would choose and which was in direct sight of the police spotters.
The distance is so short that it is surprising that the perpetrator only hit Trump’s ear. With a normal rifle scope the task would have been easy.
Just before the shots were fired, some in the crowd said, it appeared that police snipers sitting on a barn noticed movement nearby. The snipers seemed to be focusing on something off the bleachers in the direction of a building and a water tower.
The perpetrator
He is believed to be a 20-year-old Pennsylvania man named Thomas Matthew Crooks. Photographs of the body show that his clothing contrasts sharply with the light-colored roof. He would have had only a short time to fire his shots. It would not have been difficult to place one or more officers on that very roof.
Law enforcement recovered an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle from the scene. This semi-automatic rifle type is more of a symbol of conservatives and is used in the military in a fully automatic version.
Lt. Col. George Bivens gave the press a summary of the shooting.
“At this point, we have no reason to believe there is another threat out there.”
It is too early to determine whether the shooting was a lone gunman attack. Authorities are monitoring the U.S. population by intercepting electronic communications and using informants. They are doing this very aggressively. All databases are now being queried to see if the person was known and what contacts they had.
Rojek, the FBI special agent, said there was “no specific threat intelligence related to this event” that the FBI was aware of beforehand.
Robert Pape, a political scientist at the University of Chicago who has studied Americans’ attitudes toward political violence since a pro-Trump mob attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021, conducted a national poll on the issue last month. It found that 10 percent of respondents said “the use of violence to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president is justified.” A third of respondents also said they owned a gun.
Dangerous nonsense
Democrats made many questionable statements directly against Trump and fanaticized their audience.
The past Trump administration was pretty ordinary by American standards. Nevertheless, the narrative was spread that Trump was the greatest possible threat.
Former Senator Claire McCaskill recently declared on MSNBC that Trump is more dangerous than Hitler and Mussolini.
The Republicans’ new agenda, Project 2025, is essentially pure anti-communism, a planned purge. This could be a motive for various people.
Trump supporters now fully view the presidential candidate as a martyr who was saved from the projectile by the good Lord.
On social media, people posted misleading nonsense without evidence. The “Deep State” was behind the assassination, or the CDC. It is common for narratives to be presented that please the people concerned. They do not report something as it is, but as they want it to be.
Republican Rep. Mike Collins of Georgia immediately accused President Biden of ordering a shooting at Trump’s rally, but offered no evidence. “Joe Biden gave the orders,” he wrote on X. Collins did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Others claimed on social media that one of the shooters was a member of the far-left Antifa group or was acting on behalf of transgender people. None of the posts provided evidence for their theories.
Right now we have a dead shooter with an unclear background. The list of further suspects and motives is long. Professional investigations must be carried out in all possible directions to determine how the facts are, not how they would like them to be.
Fallout
More violence could follow against individuals from the Republican and Democratic circles. The FBI and Homeland Security will focus more on such threats. The Biden administration can now apply pressure to create the impression that it is taking action. But then too many radical left-wing structures might come to light. If it remains passive, it will look very bad.
