The dos and don’ts after the end of the unrealistic MAGA hype

The MAGA hype is dead. The Trump admin is a very normal GOP admin, just like it was always bound to be. Electing a president is not electing a king because nowadays only idiot backwards empires place too much control in the hands of a single man.

  • Don’t be surprised by the cover-up of the Epstein case. Trump’s relationship with Epstein may have been 100% legal but the whole case is way too big and complicated for a public resolution. The intelligence community at the highest levels is handling this and for us life goes on as usual. There may be other, more important cases we are not even aware of. Politicians, influencers and activists hyped unrealistic expectations to gain votes and dollars.
  • Do not over-emotionalize this right now and assume things you can’t be certain of. Any meaningful foreign nation looked deep and hard into Donald Trump’s past when he became president the first time. States with resources and highly professional intelligence agencies. They could have leaked something susbtantial in 2016 and prevented his presidency. But nothing like this happened.
  • Expect a typical GOP foreign policy: Pro-Israel and assertive when it comes to Russia and China. Do not make the same mistakes as the left and the conspiracy activists in the past, believing anything is better than the US establishment.
  • Never buy the cat in the bag ever again: A politician may present himself in one of a thousand ways, yet is it up to us to find out who he really is.
  • The influencers betrayed you: You may have been following individuals who are incompetent and/or manipulative. Either they believed the nonsensical hype and are not smarter than any random activist or they smelled it was all hype but wanted to profit from it. It wasn’t particularly hard to make a professional assessment of Donald Trump when he became a serious political candidate. Do not ever believe for a second it was hard to calculate who he was.
  • Don’t be a predictable factor: AI driven psychometrics made the MAGA hype: Cambridge Analytica and others knew which buttons to push with voters out there. Within months Trump went from an extroverted showboat guy on TV shows to the savior of America. The algorithms know who is disappointed right now. Most can be soothed with a better economy (=money)
  • Don’t expect a meaningful change in the way America is run. It’s a very dangerous place for 90% of citizens who don’t own significant assets and have no significant contacts and attachments to networks. You are one large medical bill or lawsuit or federal felony charge away from having nothing.
  • Do not waste any more time: It’s pointless to listen to terrible influencers now trying to save their reputation and revenue after the big disappointment. Influencers and basically the entire internet is a time wasting machine that keeps you from thinking. When was the last time you heard someone say something originial that wasn’t lifted verbatim from the internet?
  • Don’t fall for the next scam: The next savior hype may already be in preparation. It could even be a team of people with a catchy name this type. Some “movement” that’s easy to remember.
