The defamed parents of Sandy Hook victims demand 150 million $ from Alex Jones. He had had all ample opportunity and the budget to hire real reporters and delve into Adam Lanza and his doctors. But instead, INFOWARS rehashed terrible content they lifted for free off the web without properly checking it first. Jones plays the victim, yet he could have been easily sued by many other individuals and corporations for shoddy sensationalism. He not only caused damage to the Sandy Hook parents buit also to the overall credibility of alternative media. As long as Jones was successful, people copied his business model of selling content lifted for free off of the web. Now this model no longer works and we see a shift of many people towards mainsline Republican content. Networks like CNN or MSNBC failed to properly cover the case, yet promote themselves with the argument of being better than Jones.
